Since 1989, Brilliant is a listed corporation. The primary exchange market is Berlin-Bremen. Other quotations follow at the exchange markets in Frankfurt and Hamburg.

The managing board and CEO decided not to comply with the introduction "Regierungskommision Deutscher Corporate Governance Kodex" in the official part of the electronic German Federal Bulletin from the Federal Ministry of Justice.

New main shareholder of the Brilliant AG

Since September 24, 2004, the British business group "The National Lighting Company Ltd" has become the new main shareholder of the Brilliant AG. The British company took over the block of shares of 78% from the American SLi Group.

Subsidiaries of the National Lighting Company are Poole Lighting Ltd. and Helix Lighting Ltd., which are both market leader in Great Britain.

Within the obligated offer according to § 35 clause 2 of the Security Acquisition and Takeover Act

The National Lighting Company Ltd. took over 1.6% of the block of shares. During the business year 2006, the shareholding grew up to 84.6%.
